Confirms Justin Hardy to Centrals. And a signing for West Adelaide.

If anyone could post some stats on Justin Hardy, eg, how many VFL games he played last year, how many goals he kicked, or where he finished in their B&F that would be greatly appreciated.

Disappointing hes gone to Centrals. Huge talent spoiled by the fact he couldnt go 3 games without ripping a hammy. If his body has improved, he's a very very smart recruit that could pay big dividends for the dogs.

If fully fit it sounds like he could play a role similar to Luke McCabe this year.
Mainly in the forward line, off the bench and small periods in the midfield.

If this rumour is true it reminds me alot of when we recurited Charles Slattery, not really a big name and no fuss made about it but he has filled a role perfectly especially in 07.

I heard on the grapevine today that Nathan Carroll has been in town training with West Adelaide, was seen doing their 4.5km time trail during the week. Would be a massive pick up for the Bloods if Carroll isn't going to get another AFL lifeline with the Saints. Also heard that Rix the ruckman is pretty much signed at Westies.

Time for you to get a new grapevine, Phil.

There wasn't a 4.5km time trial. I watched each night's training this week and Carroll was nowhere to be seen.

As for Rix, that's also not true.

Apart from everything being totally wrong, your grapevine is going well :D

Don't shoot the messenger R&B ;)

I'm only posting what I heard elsewhere, I thought Caroll was going to be picked by St. Kilda in the PSD ?

As for Rix, I read on thr VFL forum that he had signed with Sorrento I think, down in the Frankston league from memory ?

Be more selective about who your running messages for then, Phil :D

I'm only saying that Carroll wasn't at West this week.

(I wish one of these West recruiting rumours was true :) )

That's fine, I beleive you...

If people only posted what was 100% legit, true and accurate than this web site would probably not exist ;)

Hasn't one of the rumours come true, I thought Shane Birss had signed with you guys and was training ?

Did you see him at any of the training sessions Nathan Caroll wasn't at R&B ???

I've never suggested you shouldn't post rumours, Phil. In fact I encourage it :D

I was just suggesting your grapevine needed watering before it withered away. ;)

As for Birss and the training sessions, there are so many training that it's often hard to identify them all. I know what Carroll looks like, though :)

Bays have a very nice recruit in the wings, coming over this week I believe for a look around, would be one of the better credentialed recruits to ever come to our comp
