Who else can we call a footy slut?

JJ Allen? He has obviously been given a lot of pies and hot chips for his services!

Would that be the way to go forward? Recruiting players from a club that can't win a game!

I thought that the Shoes were backing their youth. A young 'home grown" usually has a few more plusses going for him than a second rate import.

sss the mail re Hackham is incorrect.
As for the youth they have been our focus for the past 2 years and will continue to be with this year 12 coming out of our 18 and playing seniour footy and this will continue for the years to come with the work that has been put into the juniour programme.

I'm pleased to hear that shoe boy. I was worried that you guys may have lost your way.

Youth is the answer. You are on the right track.

Good luck.

No Comer the only one and we have S Dean who has picked up a contract with South Adelaide and we wish him all the best.
As for recruiting it is all go with 4 new lads signing including big Jason who has been fantastic with his role in fitness cordinator and taking a major role in the pre season programme.
We have spoken with at least 10 others and expect to sign at least 6 in the coming weeks.
Yes it is all happening at the Shoe and all are waiting for the season to roll on.[/quote]

Shoe Boy - I'm a bit confused, this says you are recruiting 10 players but now your on the Junior track again, I got told from someone at Hackham that 4 players are going to you, sorry if the info is incorrect.

In reply to Paul Munce and Wes Bilney nominating for the AFL draft..that is an absolute joke surely?? To think that he would get picked up from Marion F.C?!

One would think there is plenty more young talent in the SFL with a better chance

You would think that Carpenter's A Grade days are behind him, but he is definately a one club man who looks like he's going to keep going in whatever grade for the Emus until he can't pull his boots on anymore.

What do you think Mex?

Club loyalty is certainly a very good trait IMO... Sounds pretty good to me... I'll tell Woody to keep going till the body says no more..!!
