Why is it that everyone in the state can see through the GH/TV circus and know what's going on except the directrors of the HFL?
Or is it a matter of not wishing or have the balls to take him on?

Gator - I am with you, I have been checking the obituary for the name Terminator. I call for the Terminator to come back, he can fill two pages in one day, whilst the off season can only fill two pages in two weeks. C'mon the Terminator, come out from your rock that you are hiding under and show us what the bloods have in store for the coming season !!!!!!!!

Bookie, I think maybe it's the HFL clubs themselves who are amongst the best and most respected in the comp. Anyone who believes the HFL is respected obviously hasn't ever set foot in this zone, can't read, can't hear and hasn't got a PC. The only balls at the HFL are Sherrins.

Crumber, I am definitely on your side, the HFL Directors couldn't run a "sh*thouse" but the clubs are tops. Maybe the leader The Big O has been there far too long, he makes some poor decisions and the league needs fresh ideas so that means a change is needed. A simple process like adding a sponsors name to the HFL website has been overlooked for 2 seasons. It's still not done and the sponsor is spewing. Onya Owey!
Bring on the Terminator!!

That's a good point.
Whether you like the way he does things or not, there was a lot of p*** and wind at the end of the '07 season about people going up against him at the AGM and all amounted to nought.

There's a rumour doing the rounds (heard it more than once) that TV feel they have a fairly decent shot of securing the signature of the 2005 Magarey Medalist - even though it had already been mentioned on here, the name Mark Clayton was also mentioned so either way it will be interesting to see if it's true.

As far as the points system goes, you do have to be wise about it because the situation does arise that a player from an A1 amatuer club may want to come and play for you for next to nothing but the 4 points he will cost may be a higher cost than the financial.

I will be absolutely gob smacked if Jeremy Clayton plays for Torrens Valley next year. Surely he would be on no less than $2000 a game. With G Hughes i guess nothing is impossible

Trained and played at everywhere. Played home games at Houghton, Lobethal, Gumeracha and even one at Meadows! Trained at TTG, Houghton, Elizabeth and Gumeracha.

Hopeful the Oval will be ready come Round 1, but as you've seen needs a bit of work. A new 'Oval Committee' was established last year, and while the ground doesn't look too flash at the moment, it's heading in the right direction. KFC are starting it's pre season on Jan 18 and will probably be at Houghton again. The KCC are still using Houghton as it's home base.

We all wait with baited breath for the next installment of Terminator !! I believe he went quiet after one poster questioned if he was who everyone said he was why was he on the forum engaging in shenanigans and sledging tennis with everyone ?
I do miss him though....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
