84 for me. Put on about 3.5 kilos a couple of weeks back due to a pig out on junk food and booze for Mrs REB's 40th but I got one kilo back last week so heading in the right direction once again. The problem is that Xmas is just around the corner! YIKES. Kudos to anyone who drops weight this coming month.

exercise is brisk walking for an hour after work and weekends. was currently walking 8 km's just over an hour.
plenty of water before eating and heaps of fresh fruit and vegetables.
5 meals a day. 3 main and 2 snacks.
somewhere back a few pages i posted what i ate and drank for the week

thats all.

the best thing my brother ever done was go to a professional dietician. he was 24yo, bit under 6 foot tall, weighed nearly 140kgs. his doc told him if he dosnt smarten up, he'll be in a wheel chair by 35, and in a wooden box by 45. that woke him up a bit, so off he went to a dietician.

they took blood tests and all that sorta mumbo jumbo, and figured out what diet is best for his body and lifestyle. different people need different stuff, and different people can go without a certain something for longer than some other people. apparently they can tell all this sorta stuff just from a blood test  amazing stuff.

anyway, long story short, my bro now weighs anywhere between 90-95kgs, and is competing in his first triathlon in january. this all happened over about 18-24 months, and has kept the weight off for 2 years now. and being a chef, and hanging around food all day, made it pretty tough for the big fella, but he done real well for himself, and i couldnt be prouder of him!!

so yeah, if you've tried everythin possible, maybe do something similar, and see how ya go.

Yeah, but I bet you're still drinking booze as per normal??? As The Big Bang wrote different people need different stuff, but a well functioning liver can be crucial in weight loss for some people.

It's probably the wrong time of year to do it, but maybe after all the festivities are over, go without booze for a month, eat plenty of greens to cleanse the liver, stick to a low carb-low fat diet and see if you get results from your exercise.

Good onya then Browny, I misjudged you :D

Hard to say why it's not working as I don't know the full details of your regime. Perhaps you need to increase the intensity and/or frequency of your cardiovascular component of exercise???
