Tom Lipson could go anywere, absolute space cadet. spoke to him about payment and he said all he wants is a blow up pool and a frizzbee.

And that is true

And a water permit to fill the pool...

So what were the reasons that alot of players left ? Has the new coach got anything to do with it?[/quote]

Most of the guys that have left have returned to their old clubs, so that is pretty straight forward.

Probably also the fact that North Haven have played in Div 4 finals the every year but never really looked like going up a Division. All the players that have left have gone to play a higher division. Unsure on Hills League though standard though???

wat i got from the north haven boys was that..some of the boys have been there for 6-7 years have had 4-5 coaches and each one has given them the same spill before the season starts, that they will make the grand final, they'll get new players etc and nothing ever seems to change, and just on lipson i've been told he's a bit of a sheep and will just follow the crowd so who knows!

for alot of these boys, that is very true.
but on the other hand most of the boys that have left have gone back to there original club.

on a complete different subject, north haven made another very interesting selection in there coach of the juniors. Darren Hams got the u/16s job over last years A grade coach Jake Watts.

who you talking about?
I'm not talking about the guys who have been there for years and looking for something else. I was more talking about the guys who came for 1-2 years and got big $$$ and have now left.

I don't know how you can expect loyalty from someone when the reason you got them to the club is money. By doing that you've accepted that they aren't loyal because you've bought them off another club. It's a bit rich to expect them to be loyal to your club but no-one else. Loyalty is a bonus these days, not expected.

I know you can't buy loyalty but you can create it once there.
I'm not saying these people have left for more $$$............I'm not sure why they have left............maybe you could tell me??

Mate, I'm not having a go at you..............I fully understand your situation and connection/s to another club. Plus you spent more over the bar than you were paid!! :D

Yeah, but so did the club you got them off.

I'd like to see a pay system that rewards loyalty rather than paying out the big bucks for people to switch clubs which seems to be the mode these days.

I think you'll find everyone who left went back to thier previous club or up to a higher division to play.
