they've called for a new chairman, it's an advertised position, obviously along with the punting public they're not happy with the current pannel.

The advertising is normal procedure, the news is Gerry will be re applying for the position when his contract ends! who's going to apply for a job in a sinking ship? Same as a new CEO, who would want the job?

Why didn't Danni hand up? She's handed up every other start since driving the horse! Luke was well within his rights to challange for the front.

You must be an absolute PEANUT! don't you think the 28.5 was too quick? why does she have to hand up? her horse clearly went better, and is racing better, everyone knows shout us was driving for the stable mate, its just great to see that they did their money after all the hard and fast work of team driving. Maybe Shout Us will grow up one day and get a life,

I'm all for blokes having a go.. there is nothing wrong with competitive racing Cheify..
Luke had every right to look for the front - given Lombo Afterburner has handed up nearly everytime...

BUT 800 - 1000m taking the leader on is a joke... Sure have a look for 300 -400m, but 28.5 first quarters and getting beaten 27m is a bit :? :? :?

Bandicoot and SCD Lombo Afterburner did hand up at its only previous time it was in front for the new stable and that was to Frosty Adonis, I smart move seeing it was a far superior horse and meant it was able to run 2nd in fast time. I'm sure MISSILE LAVROS was not same type of horse!!!!!!!!!
If she hands up gets dragged but through the field is that a smart drive??????? I don't think so.

A few points to think about.
Is MISSILE LAVROS usually driven in that matter????????? (No in my opinion)
What was alcorn having a big look around for at the bell??????? Maybe the Stablemate??? (nearly would of wrenched his neck looking to check where it was!!!!)
Did he give his horse every chance to obtain the best possible placing???????? (No in my opinion)

These points should be what stewards look at!!!!!!!!

I'm not look at this through my pocket, as I backed the 3rd horse, and I Completely agree with you Centreman...
Maybe my post wasn't as clear as it could have been.

I think competive racing is important and Luke had every right to look for the front, given Lombo Afterburner had handed up it's previous starts...

A 28.5 first quarter is not competitive racing. It's a joke in that grade.
Drivers of horses getting beaten 30m when they decide to cook the leader (the horse wasn't pulling or uncontrollable and there wasn't a cripple 3 wide looking for the breeze) should be dealt with by the stewards.
