I have no idea who you are, and don't really care, but to say most of the players thought the person you are talking about was a crap coach is totally wrong, so in my eyes you are just s***t stirring unless you want to name names.
Div 1 Premiership in your first year as coach looks good on anyone’s resume.

wow...thats impressive!

Yes played Croyden, played Tonks, he was definately sharp! The had a very good bowling side actually, was a shame they disbanded.

auto, i am handy with a camera.. but im not who you think i am ;) i know who you are referring to though, dont think im nearly as talented as him.

Yes we need some sort of junior comp for players to filter through, any suggestions?

Yeah Tonks was very sharp. Loved to bowl the short stuff a lot. I used to open bowl with him at Croydon and think i got most of my wickets as he scared them so they would go after me. We def had a good bowling team.

i disagree.

if we had all the best players representing the state side, we would be a force to tackle any district team.

I agree, thats a fraction over bored, perhaps district c or d grade.. The gap betwen SACCA and other comps is still too far, as is witnessed when you see sides like paralowie and Wolves enter our comp and carve up, wolves were nothing in PDCA

Outsideedge you are a peanut. Not sure what your referring to me giving mattsy heaps. Rest assured i knew Mattsy was one of my biggest supporters. Also rest assured that i have enough good friends at the club to know when people are having shots at me behind my back, probably happens in every sports club/team in the world. No biggy. Id be intersted for you to tell why you left the club because it obviously still burns in you. As i said b4, you left get over it.

Salisbury West did the same in the mid 90's when the SACCA was a lot stronger too. A dropped catch when Para Vista were 9 down cost Salisbury West a flag in the middle of Para Vista's run. Para Vista had a ripper side back then.....Simon Janetzki was a terrific cricketer.

Mattsy is a valued past player of Fitzroy, who left for his own reasons. It's time to move on and worry about our own club, present and future. We need to respect our opposition, on these boards as we do on the playing field.

Mattsy knows he is always welcome back at Fitzroy (He still has many friends there) as are all our former players, for a drink, a hit or just to catch up.

Lets start talking about cricket, not the past.

Thanks for those kind words hutch and i agree about just talking good cricket topics on here.

Lefty, perhaps Schulzy is having a few rough moments but the fella can bat as i have witnessed many times. I remember batting with him once on Fitzroys main oval and i hit a lovely stroke through cover for 3 and then the next ball he did the same. So what you all say. Well neither of us are light weights and to say we were puffing and panting afterward would be an understatement. Not sure how neither of us didnt let fly with vomit really. The boy will make a score soon.

Funny that, I as told by there captain that they won the there div 2 years in a row or some shit and came to SACCA for something new or something
A winner never quits and a quitter never wins.. So who came up with the saying quit while your ahead.

Think you will find they were a very strong 20/20 side in PDCA but struggled a fraction in the longer forms, also not sure whether they were div 2, i thought they were a little lower but could be wrong. Also lost a group of players when they jumped over to SACCA

Northern Wolves played Grade 5 the year before coming across.. a far cry from Grade 1! Ask anybody from PDCA, the gap between Grade 1,2,3 and the rest is quite large..

Yep...never played Grade 1.

Paralowie were a consistent Grade 2 and 3 side in PDCA also. Granted Quinton Graham wasn't playing a lot of the time but still, they never had a good time of it in Grade 1....in fact, I cant even remember them playing Grade 1.

Quinno has played one game in the last 3 seasons so i dont think he is the reason the team is on the way up

Realise he hasn't played for a while....thought he'd played this year though. My bad.

You gotta admit though, you boys had limited success in PDCA Grades 1 & 2. And this isn't bagging Paralowie, just pointing out an example between the 2 comps. As was brought up before.
