Each Friday morning, the SAFM breakfast show would do an outside broadcast from different locations.. i remember getting up early and going to a show at Vic Park... was hell funny and a great breakfast to boot!!

It seemed like one of those situations where a vocal minority fool a company into thinking a product is more popular than it actually is.

Arnotts got convinced to bring them back and then they sat idle on the supermarket shelves all over again. I remember seeing a huge stack discounted at the supermarket and figured they would disappear again soon.

Shame, because I liked them too!

Bush Biscuits are an old Menz Biscuit . Menz were bought out by Arnotts
They were only sold in SA and were deleted in about 1990
They used to sell 90 tonne a year
The old Cutter which made them was sent to Papua New Guinea.
There was a limited launch in Foodland and Iga Stores about 3 years ago.
That was very successful and last year they did it again but included Coles and Woolworths

In vietnam when the soldiers ran out of bullets they used to throw Bush Biscuits at the opposition
