I think Sledging is a great way of getting under a batters skin.. Its all part of cricket but when it gets personal the line must be drawn..

when i went out to umpire the sledge was on when i went into bat it was on but when one of the guys said i used to play 4 cm it stopped thanx drossy. doesnt get under my skin just makes me play better as we said if u dont answer back it gets under there skin

sledging is part of the game. i love dishing it out and coping it back. I remember a few years ago agaisnt Para Vista i was on around 190 and was still getting sledged about not being able to bat!!!!!

Did independent ever play Churches? Who won? Is there any players who played in those games still playing now? From memory Giggs, Trimmer, Gorski and Bucky used to represent independent in some sort of games.

that fella is over-rated.
i think the squad is pretty decent and will be more than competitive and may surprise a few people. reidy is a big loss - he can bat and field very well compared to beggy. but spirit over rides talent at these events, so a spirited performance by all will be positive. Throw in some good sledging and away you go.....
