Yes until the 1992 GF, what a day by the mighty Demons. Beaten by 8 goals in the second semi and turned it around to win on the day that mattered.

Plympton 87, 88, 89 premiers in SFL only lost a handful of games in those three years and won the flag in 89 (i think it was that one, it was one of them anyway!) by about 15 goals. They also won 85 in GSMFL which no longer exists and i believe made the GF in 86 but don't quote me on that.

They later 'illegedly' caused a bit of havoc at southern football house on 'mad monday' in 89 which forced them out fo the SFL.

I'll chuck this one in for the record - Greenacres U/17's in 1990

Undefeated Premiers - won GF by 7 goals - had 9 State players - personally think the team would have beaten the best of the rest that year.

Anway - just for the record - thanks.

Were Goodwood really that dominant over the last four years? I remember them being underdogs in at least one GF. I'd say they won the games that mattered rather than dominating the league.

They were underdogs in '05 as well, when they only just snuck into the 5 and won 3 away finals to get to the GF, one in extra time at Rostrevor and one by 2 points at Henley. It would be hard to say they have ever had the most dominant season, and I doubt a div.1 side could possibly be as dominant as teams could be in other grades.

I would say Henley's A Grade in 04! I played against them that year and they crushed every team.
We played them round 1 down there and were within 2 goals at half time. End up getting done by 20 goals!
That was my first A grade game I played! Good Times!

2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.
