How many hands is that horse?. Bloody remarkable feat of human nature, I think I saw the same animal late at the old Royal Hotel at Kent Town in about 1994 but I thought it was a dog. She cleared that up the next day though when she ordered a taxi.

OK. I'll contribute some footy news too. The foundations have gone down and the slab will soon be laid to commence the first stage of the clubrooms at Harpers Field. So (hopefully) all teams that play in Div 4 this year (as well as C5 and C6) will get the use of some nice facilities for a change !!
Not sure of the completion date but knowing the setbacks and delays so far we still have plenty of time to stumble on some ancient Dinosaur fossils or ancient Aboriginal carvings in the trees or something.... stay tuned...

good too hear! there are sme pretty ordinary changerooms in div 4. i realise pac's are not flash, but unfortunatly counsil wont let us touch them. or at least havent in the past.

When we played there early on in the year the visitors change rooms had the 1 & only toilet locked shut which stank & luckly we had a heads up from the Portland boys on not to go releiving yourself under the trees near by otherwise u may of found yourself with a standard 2 week suspension like 2 of their boys from memory which is pretty rough when the Team your playing cant supply the away side even the basic facilities to use!

have been told in the past few days that PAOC should have 2 of their 2004' mid-feilders returning from interstate and that seb paynter who is a young bloke that finished at the school 2 years ago and has been playing ressies and a bit of league is a bit over the pressures of the sanfl so will be out at the club, so good things all round.

So things are looking ok in the on field department for the Reds next year & sounds like your pretty confident u should at least avoid relagation to Div 5 then the trick this year is not to choke come finals time hey

Speaking of relagation to Div 5 for season 2010 Unley may be in a bit of trouble trying to stay up as i heard a whisper M.Thomas maybe on the move to play for a country club next season & this will be a massive loss for them if there is any truth to this?

I would be very surprised to hear Seb Paynter playing footy at all. From what I understand he's not over league/reserves footy, he's over footy full stop!!!!!!!!

Has anyone heard anything about who Fitzroy have picked up. I have been told that they have secured the services of a few players from the Adelaide Plain s League. Can anyone confirm?

I think you'll find thats old news on the div 5 forum, Thomas is gone but apparently they have picked up some Glenunga boys as well as a couple from Edwardstown?? I'm going by memory here so don't be surprised if I'm slightly different to what was on the div 5 forum!!

thomas is a big loss though! was the heart of the side IMO

if pearcey is fit and with coulter in the guts + all the other good quality smalls then they will be a really tough side to beat. Adam is one of those blokes that on his day is unstopable. and not to mention just a little bit nuts would hate to be the CHF/CHB that has to play on him.

what were his reasons for going to the roys?? as he was one of those blokes from uni that was very harsh on others who left the blacks!

im not doubting his ability very dangerous player who is hard to match up on, i personally didnt like the way he went about things eg bagging his team mates and walking around like he was holding water mellons under his arms

It wasn't the watermelon under his arms that was the problem.................it was the chip on his shoulder!!
