2009 Recruits to SANFL Clubs

All discussions to do with the SANFL

Any chance that someone might put the relevant information about recruits into a sticky thread perhaps, so we can get recruit info in a glance? Discussion and rumours are great, but it can get time-consuming wading through the whole thread.

Not that I am complaining, mind. I realise I could harvest the info just as anyone else, so no complaints from this little duck, nosiree...

Did you have to write that Dutchy - its like putting a pint of beer in front of me and telling me I can't drink it! ;)

Lets hope we hear of some recruits soon - starting to get concerned, although from memory we don't usually announce recruits til later than most teams.
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

almost a 'swap' for doyle from last year seeing doyle didn't play too often last year, if adam ever realises he can play he could dominate the comp but i don't think he has the confidence to do so

Given some of the other clubs involved I am surprised he picked South, I thought a few of the other clubs might have been more appealing. I think most Norwood supporters are dissapointed, he got games with us when he never should have and I think he owed the club something.

I'm in two minds as to if he will ever make it. His best is very good as seen last year but he also played some shockers. His disposal is terible and hasn't improved which would be a concern. I would have thought Clay Sampson would have some fairly tough off field rules which might test him but I think overall as a Norwood supporter I'm dissapointed in Adam and how this has turned out. Still the club has had a good off season and we have to move on and hopefully pick up a large transfer fee along the way.

Dont be too hard on Cocky mate, when you learn the "whole story" I'm sure you'll change your mind, and you know how much I hate to see ANY of our players change clubs!

Rick Giles has left West. Matt Down has left North, so has Daniel Ward. Has Charlie Sharples left Sturt? I see he is in the squad to play in the QAFL with the NT Thunder.

I think Ric Giles was told to leave he didn't leave on his own accord.
