We lost with 8 players.. But with 8 players we'd thrash your b grade..

No mate, you are at the moment the worst team in the league. Bottom of Div 5. Anyway i meant scores. How did you go personally?

Last week I mentioned Victorian Dwayne Hekes record 373 in 68 overs... What I didnt mention was he has a permanant knee injury from a car accident that nearly claimed his life in 2004.. Thus making running hard.. During his amazing innings he clubbed 35 sixes and 31 fours.. To read the full story go to: http://209.85.173.132/search?q=cache:jl ... cd=1&gl=au

Your the worst team in the league, yet your throwing stones at a team 2 divisions higher than you. Maybe you should leave the glasshouse!

Smithy gets the half ton as i predicted. Will he don the whites on a more permanent basis though. Cannot believe his bowling talents were not utilised though. A huge tragedy.

It amazes me, time and time again, people will rock up to a game without so much as having lifted a bat and will do really well. This is only my personal belief, but i really do think at this level of cricket training is over rated. Unless your put in match situations at training and face or bowl to people who make you lift your standards then training isnt all its cracked up to be! Any thoughts?

I dont know really. It is good to train to keep up skills and work on new things. Some people can play a game for the first time in a year or two and come back and dominate, whilst others need to train and play to get into some form.
