Salisbury should be applauded for not paying players and still playing Div 3 footy.

Clearly their junior program is what keeps the numbers at senior level, but if they want to go any higher then they may be forced to upon up their wallets.

New sponsors would help!

18s struggled last year mate, the year before they won the flag though. Should see a few of those boys start to become more accustomed to Div 3 level in the next year or two, with a couple hopefully coming back with the SANFL scrapping the 19s.

Nothing to announce as far as players go Stag.

Before your time Pag but i can remember in late 90's the goodwin twins playing for Salisbury - they use to cause some damage!!

Haha, yeah mate I used to run water in the late 90s when Lee and Corey were going around. Nobody like that around anymore, but there were some interesting things to see on the field as a 9-10 year old. Didn't need to play any violent video games, just watch the footy on a Saturday arvo.

They were a handful cos first and foremost they could play, but also loved a scrap....the original Gowan twins!!

Surely he isnt going to North Haven.
North Haven have a coach - no players , but they have a coach...
No way would Thornton head there after winning a premiership. I spoke with him a few weeks ago and he was fired up for a good year.

Spoke to Andy at training last night and apparently Cash haven offered him $20,000 for the year and the use of a new holden donated by Smith Motors. Think they were hoping he would bring a heap of Portland players with him cos half of Havens have jumped off the sinking ship
