20. Garlic is the common name for Allium, from the Alliaceae Family. Same family as onions, shallots and leeks.

so not really part of a family of 4 letters

with out getting 2 technical, the use of "family" is a bit loose in this case, the 2 technically are related but split at the Phylum level of classification. but ill live with it ;)
