Day time it is wallabies, and feral deer, and bunnies, in the back yard.

Possums are like foxes - there are local family lines that have not seen the countryside in many generations.Leaping Lindner wrote:We have Possums and we are in the heart of St Kilda.Psyber wrote:Where I live in Melbourne we have nightlife - mostly possums and koalas.

If you normally drink at the Cranka I'd go with Revolver or The Pony Club as Punk and Quichey suggested. Quichey also suggested The Espy which does have some good bands on at this time of year but can be full of CUBS and wannabees who just go there
"cos they are in St Kilda and that" and wouldn't have a clue.
If you are sticking with the CBD the Ding Dong lounge (formally the International) is worth checking out. The stairs leading up have a mural which features a huge painting of a Black Flag album and Beasts of Bourbon album they also they have artists on there such as Spencer Jones and Rowland Howard regularly so it gives you some idea of what it's like.Punters are generally easy going and friendly.

If heading to the inner burbs. The Tote in Collingwood is still a pretty cool place with a good vibe.
Avoid King Street and the Casino at all costs. Full of CUBS and wankers in Elwood T-Shirts.

Firstly what is a CUB?
and secondly, are you sure they arent wankers in Travesty T-shirts. Do they even know what the word means?

I think the Elwood T-Shirts have been taken over by Abercombe and Fitch though. Although the Ram-Ones could make a come back.
