Ognenovski could be gawnski....

The Big O has been approached by K League giant Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma.

The other interesting bit is Macedonia have told him they'd play him in the Euro World Cup qualifiers
after he was recently voted the second best Macedonian player in the world  ( this is
despite the fact he was born in Melbourne), if he moves to Korea.

Not all happy sailing as the big man is contracted til 2010, and United have put
up a transfer fee double what Chunma have offered.

He's not a happy man ! But a contract is a contract IMO, and United have to get something
for him, as if it wasn't them on the World Stage then no one would know who the hell
he is.

Will be interesting to watch. So possibly nest year, no Ognonovski, Valkanis, Agostino, Costanzo
Spagnuolo, Beltrame & Diego !

At least we will be able to get a new Marquee player. Hopefully one that can get on the park more often and be a bigger influence to the squad.
It's Somma Time!

We will find it extremely hard to replace Oggy, if he leaves now it could completely derail our season.

It was in the paper today that FC Seoul have joined the party for the Big O's services. Good to see! Hopefully a bit of competition between the two K-League clubs means more dollars for the Reds. It also states that any transfer to Korea will not take place until after the current A-League season, as the new K-League season doesn't kick off til March. Who knows, after a couple of years in Korea, he might head back our way? If he's successful over there though, I don't think we'll see him again. More's the pity, he's been sensational for us in the short time he's been here. =D>
