The reason why I say this is because on all 3rd umpiring decisions that are refered the freeze frame comes up soon as the bails are dis-lodged and the batsman is judged on where he is at that point?? As I said I am being difficult ;)
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

McDonald gone, edged through to the keeper. Doesn't look like a test batsmen going on that performance, very rigid at the crease but not in a nervous way, looks more to do with technique (a lot off the back foot). Hope his bowling is better.

Every single time in this series that Australia has started to get on top they've pegged us back immediately.

Not sure it counts as a dropped catch if you don't get a hand on it  ;)

haha good call! was a pretty poor effort!
im happy seeing johnson bat at 8 for the aussie side. i think he is a quality batsman for a bowler (if that makes sense) and him batting number 8 i hope will allow him too play his shots and we can see johnson and clarke smash em around!
but im sick of seeing us nearly on top and SA get wickets or put on a partnership to bury us! we have had a good series but have just not gone on with any momentum that we seem to get!
i thought mcdonald showed a bit of guts in his little stay, but i dont think he is a number 6 for tests! bring in Marcus North or David Hussey IMO

McDonald looked like a tailender out there. He didn't watch the ball when it was short and didn't move his feet when it was up. I can't believe they leave David Hussey on the sidelines to select this bloke. McDonald would have take a lot of wickets to convince me he is worth his spot. They might as well have selected Krejza instead, at least he can hit the ball. You watch Ponting not give him any overs, just like with Cameron White. It seems to me that the selectors are picking players that Ponting doesn't have confidence in. It will be most interesting to note how many overs 'Ronnie' gets and when.

regards,
