All out for 445. Good effort from Hauritz ending up with 41.

Will be a difficult 20 - 25 minutes before tea for SA.

when aussies were 6/250 odd i think they said betfair still had australia favourite. how?? 2 nil down in the series, with the tail in, i was thinking that it oculd not be right!
i definitely agree FD88

Taking a glance at the TAB odds before, they had Australia at $2.70 and SA $6.00 with the draw the favourite at $1.85. Bit more realistic.

betfair finds it's own market.
The Draw is actually the favoured outcome at the moment-
Draw $1.77
Aus $2.80
RSA $9

PS RSA are shortening as we speak

Geez Haddin let himself down there. He should have at least made the attempt and in reality should have caught it as well.

Bollinger creating a few chances here, very unlucky not to have Smith as his first scalp.

Do people think it is out of the question that we can go to South Africa and win over there. Especially if we walk away from this series and do some homework with our top order......

Not out of the question at all imo. The side we took into this series has lacked one of its lead bowlers (Clark, who troubles the Saffers more than the others) and the other in Lee hasn't been fit. We've carried an injured Symonds and Hayden has been nowhere; this isn't the best we've got, far from it in fact. Even with the decimated bowling attack we've had our chances to put SA away cheaply; imo if we can take Clark with us to SA and settle the batting line up, we are a very good chance of winning and I guess "reclaiming" our title.

Definitely not out of the question in my opinion. We haven't been far off the mark in this series so far. Our top order has barely scored any runs, and we do have some quality batsman who can come in and make their mark (Jacques, Klinger, Hughes, D. Hussey). Bowling is a bit more tricky but I reckon Hilfenhaus is a goer, while Krezja should play ahead of Hauritz, who is a pie chucker in my opinion.
Don't be scared. Now is not the time!

We need to be able to take 20 wickets which we struggle to do at the best of times. It is possible to win there of course but I don't think we will.

Agree about Hauritz. He's a dud. Not sure what he is supposed to be doing but he just seems to bowl flat and straight, far too defensive for my liking. I don't know whether he is doing that under instruction from the skipper or he's trying not to concede too many runs and keep his spot in the team because of that. Maybe that's just the way he bowls. Either way he needs to get dropped.

Given the chances we've had they should be one down by now. Need to take our opportunities every time when the attack lacks experience like this.

We ended up with a good total...... from where we were.

We need to get a quick wicket now, otherwise Smith and McKenzie will get away from us.

McKenzie looks to be struggling but I reckon Smith will go first. Edit: He was almost gone in that over but ah well.

Great ball from Johnson smashes Smith in the gloves. Good stuff.

Smith's in a bit of strife.

Real strife. He can't get his glove on. Probably broken either his finger or perhaps the hand. He's going off retired hurt. Bad luck for Smith, good news for the Aussies.

WTF is going on? I've never seen 8 cops walk ot on the field to halt play before. Someone has done something pretty serious by the looks of it.

Edit: As it turns out just an attempted streaker  . That many police walking on the ground while another large group of cops wrestle the bloke. Just a tad over the top

Heh, given the number of cops my first thought was terrorist attack.

Also McKenzie looks much more comfortable when Bollinger goes around the wicket, immediate relief for him.
