What do you reckon Punkster ?
Something along the lines of a comp that on a site I frequent.
I'll chuck in a carton for a prize to kick things off.

1 Best Bet - The Oaks - Mary Marvel

2 Best Bet - Cox Plate - Plastered

Best Quin - Caulfield Cup - Hollow Bullet/Renewable

Own Bet - SR6 - Scission

Races could be nominated or just go with any group races on offer that Saturday, I could get the nominated races off that site if all agree. Obviously we'd use unitab divvys.

Unfortunately I'm a nuffy when it comes down to excell or whatever it is that compiles the scores ect, sure someone on here could run the show.

great value bayman if it was trots but the thoroughbreds arent his speciality.... He's like Nadal on clay with his trots... He's a gun!.... but at the races.... well... it would be like John Hopawartoo beating Craig Motram over 10,000 metres.

After this post Another Grub has shortened to $13
Bayman has drifted to $151-00.
Also expecting considerable support for the Sheik at the $8

Were all mates on here scoob.... nothing to hide under a hat!!!!!..... the horse was called Classic De Lago, trained by Philip Stokes.... Ooops did I say that out loud or just think it????
The famous scoob plunge will happen at its next outing ALL ABOARD!!!! (only after scoob has had his gorilla on it)
I would love scoob to do a city racing pre-view every Fri? How about it scoob?
Marju Snip though was the best trial of the day. Sat last and swept around them to win easily in quickest time of the morning. Very impressive!!

In a nutshell
2 Win bets & 1 Quinny on any group race Australia wide every Saturday.
Also 1 win bet on any race covered by Unitab. So you can plonk a tip if you get one. .
That's four bets every week from say Aug 19th - Nov 9th. With a $10 stake on every bet.
Tips to be in by 12 noon on the Saturday.
Scratched selections can be amended as long as the change of selection is in before the 12 o clock deadline.

Would you blokes prefer selected Group races or any G1,2, or 3 races ? I'm more in the any Group race camp myself as I don't really follow the 2 or early 3yo Spring form, but majority rules.

Carton, but more importantly bragging rights for the next 12 months (unless we run a Summer Comp).

I don't mind running it, but any help with the format ect would be good.

nah, just good mates BN
I think if you used selected Group races, it would be a more level playing field...if you like a runner in another group race use it as your selected win bet, but as you say majority rules.
