Another big game this week in Div 1 Fitzroy v Paralowie. Might go along way to see which club gets into the finals.

Morialta will make the finals, but expect Rose Park to finish last. They were pretty unimpressive yesterday. Beside Reidy, and Hall i dont think they have a "batsman" and even Hally struggling this year. I would think Morialta easy unless they have one of thier "all out 80's".

Morialta pumped by NEK! Really struggling at the minute..

carey18 i heard perhaps some sloppy fielding had a part to play in your loss to PV? Also missing McPhedron?

Very important games on the 10th, Paralowie meet Para Vista in a crucial game for Paralowie, will be interesting to see if they can scrape together a full side.. Para Vista expected to announce the return of champion quick Oldman back from the states..

Fitzroy vs Rose Park is easily the match of the round, this result could determine how the seasons end up, expect Fitzroy to be back to full strength and tough to beat, but never doubt the underdog a big game from R.P big guns could see it sneak another upset.

Morialta vs N.E.K is another which could go either way, tough to pick but i think N.E.K is a far better one day outfit with its big hitters..

yay i picked two right :P good to see the alcohol over the festive season didnt fry my brain haha

Also the B's have had a couple of guys come thru and are now playing A's and doing well which has been good for the club, and JL is in good enough form to be considered unlucky not to be playing higher.

Eastside made just over 200 I think, we held them with our opening bowlers having them 3 for 20 odd but once our openers were off, it was a bit of a struggle. The less said of our batting the better, but that's been our problem all year. I think they have the best bowling line up in the grade, it's just a pity they play at a shocker of an oval and with it being school holidays the grass was probably 20cm high in some spots, but thats the problem this time of year if you play at school grounds.

Ouch! Best bowling line up is a big call, Matt Johnson is class, Lenahan is handy as well but they fall away from there, templeton eratic.

Enfield have Gully, Hughes, Miller, Reynolds.

Brooky Park have Craig & Shaun Rainsford, Turland, Ghent

CM have Jarrett, Wright, Phillips, Belczacki

Eastside seems to enjoy picking very small grounds to make their home, i think its ridiculous!

Not just a slow over rate. We started 5 mins late, Lost some time when your skipper got hit in the nuts trying to pull every ball knee height. Yesterday showed we are just a bunch of football mates who have a hit now and again to fill in time until footy and you blokes are a team who takes it very serious.

im sure Rich will be happy to know his nuts were near his knees! it was hard not to giggle about it from the other end! that ground was extremely quick, it was a lot of fun to bat on. Dutchy was unlucky not to get me 3 or 3 times tho.

Yeah was hard not to laugh when he tryed to pull that ball. Was way to low and the bowler isnt really quick. Yeah ground was very fast, 1 or 4. Dont no y Dutchy bowls himself so late in the game. In my opinion he should open.

I would have thought that they would settle for a score like that. They usually rely on Vanderwerf to steady the ship. Thats why they make 80.
