Hahaha, did Les actually write that? If so, what a legend.

"Her GPS must have gone haywire on the way to work that day because her car obviously took her to another planet."

Comedy gold.

Most of us can smell an old fashioned soccer basher from a hundred miles.

Soccer (‘We refuse to call it football,’ she says) will soon engulf this nation to the point that we will all love it so much we won’t be able to breathe.

Lets hope so. I'm engulfed with it!

How come AU hasn't qualified. Is it just one from the A League ?

The two qualifiers from the A-League are from the previous season's results. The premier's plate winner (top at the end of the minor round) automatically qualifies, and the winner of the grand final. If, as should happen more often than not, the premier's plate winner is also the grand final winner, the team that made the grand final against them also qualifies. Therefore, Newcastle (premier's plate winner) beat Central Coast in 07/08 GF and they both qualified. I think we need more than an 8 team league to have more than 2 ACL qualifiers? So, it's really important for the Reds to finish top so they qualify for 2010 ACL. Perth did us a massive favour yesterday in that regard! Hopefully the boys can make it count Wednesday night v Queensland. Hope this helps! :)

So the A-League wooden spooners defeat the Asian Champions League champions!

Also, were Pohang looking for Razzie award nominations tonight...
