NEK v Fitzroy........fitzroy to win easy
Paravista to defeat Morialta in a close one

Paravista V Fitzroy final again. vista will be praying for hot weather again and probably take the win too ..sorry vista boys, but fitzies have your measure come finals time...

i am not dis-crediting them at all. All credit is due to them. You cannot be undefeated and top if you are not doing something right! All i am saying is that their style is unsustainable longer term. You cant have 9 sloggers in a team and expect to post 250-300 all the time. I would love to know how many dropped catches per NEK game there has been too....last time we played them there was at least 4. NEK are good fellas, and its always good to play against them for sure. my tip is they will be shown up come semi time, regardless of who they play.

Not just a slow over rate. We started 5 mins late, Lost some time when your skipper got hit in the nuts trying to pull every ball knee height. Yesterday showed we are just a bunch of football mates who have a hit now and again to fill in time until footy and you blokes are a team who takes it very serious.

but saying that we can beat any team in the comp on our day had we taken our chances the result may have been alot diff. cous had a couple fall just short of fieldsmen when under 15 hodo dropped under 10 again in the 20's and a half chance in the 30's goes on to make nearly 70 or what ever it was marshall did bat well but had we taken our chances maybe he would've had to take alot more risk's but not taken them chances is bad cricket in no way am i taken any credit from para "you need to earn 70k plus a year to be in my team" vista! they played a much better game than we did on the day.

but paralowie as a team should take up under water knitting anyway if ace can take 3wickets!

and holland is out for paralowie this week paralowie will be led by aaron frith.

Yeah was hard not to laugh when he tryed to pull that ball. Was way to low and the bowler isnt really quick. Yeah ground was very fast, 1 or 4. Dont no y Dutchy bowls himself so late in the game. In my opinion he should open.

i think you'll find holland thinks that henderson and barnes are a better opening bowler combo as both can swing the ball where as dutchy isnt a great swinger of the bowl he does his swinging on the dance floor! he also enjoys bowling the later overs with changes of pace etc etc although he did get alittle angry sat. which he isnt happy about.

i dont rate NEK at all, sorry guys. bunch of sloggers (apart from some classy batters) and a style that is totally unsustainable come finals time. stats prove me wrong to now, but from what i have seen i wasnt that impressed at all.

couldnt agree more bowl in the right areas with deep long off and on and a deep midwicket and you'll get plenty of wiockets against them i must say clune is a class act tho. and there bowling upset gorski early and you've only gota play 2 balls an over the rest are over your head balding goes ok but very straight easy to keep out then cash in off the rest last year we made over 300 both times i think won them both with ease. round1 this year played them with 7players made 140-150 and got them 5 down i think cant really remember but with 7players thats a fair effort

Personally i hope your right, i never thought you would come last i just think if you drop this weeks game & Fitzroy win well it just opens up a gap between 4 & 5. Rose Park will come last i have no doubts.
