You obviously trained with him at Para Hills which was one of seven clubs he trained at during the year. I was of the belief that he had committed to Para Hills last year before changing his mind several times. Isnt his Auncle the coach out there?

that is what it is turning into these days!!
could change in a few years if we are in this so called recesion
clubs wont have as much cash as they used to cause sponsors cant give out as much coin!
what these money chasing players gonna do?
surely they wont play for free!! might just stop playing altogether!!

as the big cheese said coxy is very committed and always wants to win, which i think is a worthy trait to have superlative steve. and once u get to know him his a great bloke. And i think if he played at districts i believe he would stay there, cause i thats where he wants to be. But as we all know some blokes are wankers and dont welcome people to their club, and are to arrogant to get to know people, which is their loss i guess. Sure he mave have made a few mistakes but we all do and i would welcome him back with open arms. Probably a better player and a better bloke than u.

What the hell are you talking about 1eyed....Im all for welcoming new players to the club but you cant compare a new player to m. cox. How many chances to you give a guy ? For the last 3 odd years he's promised many clubs including districts that he'd play there and then left to go to another club. I dont think he's actaully played a whole year for 1 club in that time. So are you trying to tell me that you want a person at your club that has been given many chances, and then repeatedly lied and goes missing throughout the year. He was given another chance this year and then 3 weeks into pre season stops turning up, doesnt answer his phone and then goes and trains at another club.

And i can asure you that im both a better player and better bloke than him

I can honestly say we have a lot of work to do.

Good turnout last night, but fitness is a long way off where it needs to be.

This time last year, we were miles ahead.

Could easily happen if we are not careful.

It does feel like we only stopped training a few weeks ago, and i think most guys have enjoyed the break without thinking about footy too much.

Time to get our bums in gear though, myself included.

Looks like it could be a pretty even season this year in div3.

With Kilburn losing a few players and teams like Iggies and Woodville South
recruiting well.

Plus you would think both Portland and Mitcham would be competitive.

What do you think Flech

To be honest, i dont really know how we will sit at this stage. We have picked up a few, but also have lost a couple of key players unexpectedly.

Last year, we were probably a 3-4 goal better side than Mitcham, but it doesnt take much of a swing for that to change. I would of thought we could of matched it with Salisbury with our 2008 side, but who really knows.

I dont know much about the other sides either.

It happened to us last year too mate, I can imagine it would happen to a lot of premiership sides. We were celebrating the GF through presentation night and footy trip and into November, then before you know it Christmas is there and you haven't done anything because the season didn't really finish that long ago.

It's the curse of a winning a GF, but hey, it might be a long time before the next one, so you gotta live it up while you can.

I personally think Walkerville and Kilburn should still be considered favourites despite what's being said on here. SMOSH are always around the mark in Div 3 as well.
