Churches need to lift their game IMO.
Don't worry about U/21 Pidge, try out for the seniors and see how you go.
Sorry but im not good enough. Plus isnt training all the way down south somewhere? It would cost too much in petrol to get there and back. Why cant they have it somewhere central like Para Vista or something?
I don't know where you get your information from regarding the location of training..?!??

Trainings leading up to the Nationals were initially held at Para Vista's training facility and then on turf at Flinders Park CC for the 6-7wks prior to flying out.
Yes, the next CUSA round is on 1/2. I don't think there will be an U21 side from Churches. Have you managed to drum up any other support/teammates Pidge?? Personally, I think we should be trying to refocus on U21 next year and if there is no support for it (as has been in recent times; eg: last year), then the Association is fully vindicated in their decision not to field an U21 side. Can't field a team if it doesn't exist.
As for training leading up to the last CUSA round against ASCA, we hope to finalise things by the ed of the week. Training is open to EVERYONE - including ALL Fitzroy players, contrary to previous uninformed opinions

- so please take this back to your Clubs. More information will be available for the next delegate's meeting I guess, whenever that will be. I'd say there'll be 2 trainings prior to the match, so that means training will staert next week. Don't think you're not good enough Pidge. At the end of the day, it's not all about making the final 12. If you do, that's fantastic, if not, well let's just have a look at ya and maybe give you a few things to work on to take you to the next level.
What we want to see is
blokes passionate about representing the Association and keen to improve themselves as cricketers. Ability and
CHARACTER is what the final selection will be based on, and rest assured that the final side will be the best that we can put on the park from the players who best display those 2 attributes. The CUSA Cup is NOT about everyone who turns up to training getting a game in at least 1 of the matches, as some people would like to think is the case. Our representative side will be the best representation of the players who make themselves available, end of story. We have put some pretty ordinary sides on the park in the past and it's not good enough. I think it's great that more players have embraced the representative side of our Association. Just speak to the boys who toured in Melbourne about the experience and their passion for what they did. It's infectious..
And who knows, if Para Districts beat Adel Turf and CCC&A beat ASCA, there's a slim chance that CCC&A could play the final against SA Country on Adelaide Oval. Now, how SICK would that be?!?? Fully sick maaaate!
Watch this space chaps..
