Send her out see how she goes  Seriously my point was really only if he cant train for both nights. We have so many numbers so far thi year that it looks as though you may need to train two nights to get a game in the C grade! Heaps of young eager kids who are willing to do all the pre season, its good for the club but tough work for us older players.

dont care just know that my old club plympton will be there going on recent form over the 2 years i was there.
and smithfield seem to be the other side that was always around the mark aswell. elizabeth were shite, kenilworth struggled to win a game, centrals were more interested in fighting rather then playing. ingle farm, well not sure what they were doing but didnt seem they were on the right track. blackfriars have to many 'rich' mums and dads at the footy that told you off for swearing in there 'rich' suburb of north adelaide area. ( and they had a decent side but just off the mark). we all knew what golden grove and greenacres did to win the GF and go up a div. not sure what rosewater was upto as i was not playing in the games that plympton played them[/quote]

nothing 'rich' about our club bulldog i can guarantee you. only really matters what happens on the ground.

How bout playing games on a proper sized oval instead of the school yard/parkland rubbish you have now. Being a private school surely theres better facilities out there.

I found their supporters to be quite hospitable, there was one bloke giving our young boundary umpire a hard time because he caught behind the play once but apart from that, they were good. There were a few commenting on how much we were getting ripped off by umpires.

go do some research on available space in the metro area to plonk a footy club because i have done heaps.

the footy club carries the school name and gets support from the school being the leaseholders of the land in the adelaide city council that we play on. we started the club from scratch in july 2005 and support ourselves financially so it's not as easy as you might think. i guess you weren't around in 1937 when your club was formed so you probably aren't to familiar with what's involved.

not all private schools have heaps of land either. drop by blackfriars some time and have a look.

better luck this year when you have to play on our 'rubbish' oval. heard it all before mate but what we've got is what we've got.

LM that second half of umpiring was a shocker that day. we were lucky to get the win.

It was very pooh, they simply lost their bearings. We had a heap of very ordinary send-offs, they had a couple too, but it was a very poor display.

i was agreeing with him which is why i said we were lucky to get the win. it wasn't against us at all. our send off was lame but they had more and the decisions were going against them as well.
