apparently so. one of the Paralowie boys saw a shout from the sidelines later on and mentioned that it would have been closer than Smiths decision... not that it made him feel any better.

hey, I wasn't talking about his bowling... his batting is superb - he cover-drives on two knees with the best of them!

heres a discussion, who has the best cover drive in the league - div 1, best hook shot, best straight drive, off the legs, best defense...??

And no, that is NOT a colostomy bag around his guts, it's a 'guard' - admittedly on the wrong side of the body for a left-hander, but hey.. ;)

Vanderwerf and Bevan are good straight hitters.

Good call on Eddie, typewriter. He has the best cover drive in this competition by so far it's ridiculous. He's played something crazy like 10 Imparja Cup's for South Australia and he's the only bloke in the competition who has, or will ever be likely to play a game of cricket at Lord's - yes, I'm fair dinkum.. ;)

Here's the Great Man himself in full flight en route to 55 against a strong Southern Districts bowling line-up. 8)

I have always liked Fitzroy's Andrew McDonald lookalike 'Billy' Trimmer's shots off his pads. Always a pleasure to view and just for the record the man although being a right hander can actually bat left handed also. Used to love it when he would switch from right to left in the nets. Sorry BB but he's a 'freak'.

whats up with vista?? i reckon they will win anyway, and break the NEK luck.
Morialta should be rose park....hopefully.
fitzroy to beat paralowie.

suprise in fitzroy. Warner sacked from the 20/20 squad, and walks in.

i rate the reidy cover drive, frithys off side smashes for sure, marshall is a good puller/hooker (in every sense :P), gorski is solid but not wow. havent seen to much of clune or paralowie for that fact.

millsy is quality from NEK. i rate him, always have.

valente from fitzroy, when he plays, is the best all round bat. solid AS, every shot in the book, and pure class. just hard to get him out. great hands in slip. tyson has returned from a hiatus, and can bat very well....runs like forest gump too

Rumor has it few players out and weakened. Without Vines in the bowling attack i think the thrashing 20/20 attacking style of game of NEK will expose their lack of depth with the ball..

Warner in for Fitzroy? Tough crowd, one failure and demoted to churchy league SA :P

Only 3 Games away.

Best all-rounder... i would say giggs, but wont. Probably Marshall or Holland.
