I wouldn't really call them supporters if they're sitting on the hill drinking booze out of their own esky's.

Bingo - that must p$$s their committee off no end to even see players after the game go and have a drink on the hill rather than in clubrooms...

full foward wrote:Riddler not sure about elizabeth but things out at the farmers are a bit up and down while they have had about sixty faces turn up at different stages so far and alot have been kids looking on from the side lines i dont see alot of talent running around.Club legend gordo mount is yet to grace the track and two of its best young talent are set to leave s.n and c.a as much as it hurts to say it cant see the farmers giving anybody to much trouble this year. But as you all know the farmers have a good following of supporters and they will all be there doing just that again this year.

Did hear Elizabeth having been training really well and the support for the new coach has been great...good numbers on the track and there is talk of a possible C grade again.

Do they sell cheaper drinks during home games, I could think of no better place to watch the footy from than up in their bar.

Just because you say they drink out of eskys all day doesnt mean that they are not supporters. Not everyone can afford to pay over five bucks a can all day long just being there is better than not. its not all about money im sure the players would rather people watching than staying at home

in other Div 5 news, I received a letter from my footy club advising me of a name change. Pulteney have dropped the Old Scholars from their name and will now be known as Pulteney FC. Only thing now is to move off that heap of shite they call Morgan Oval and preferably away from the idiots of the Adelaide City Council.
