By the way, the 30.7 minimum is an equal record for the 28th of January (with 1900). The previous maximum record was 42.6, also set in 1900.

Note in here I mentioned that it was the equal longest wait for the first 30 degree day for December (with 1907). I actually thought about the possibility of it being like the following month this month (January 1908 = January 2009), and here we are.

And while I'm on a roll, this is the hottest recorded Wednesday. Previous was Wednesday the 20th of February 1980 which was 43.3.
