daysofourlives wrote:shirtfront- dont know bout u having a good squad. i think the new players will only replace who u have lost. brad sheridan is teaching in the country is he travelling back to play?
richter, cook, casey, bornholm, fisher, zorich, west are all gone. most of these guys are young and thay are being replaced with old fossils who are at the end of there careers imo. please correct me if im wrong about any of these players.
if cook has gone would alexander go as well?
who have u picked besides leals mates from freeling and wintle?

and i forgot marty porter has gone as well so that would probably make it the top 3 or 4 from last years best and fairest gone

Where has Richter gone? Does it look like Alexander will stay?

Yeah, no loss there to be honest, B grader at best. As per previous posts the loss of Casey, Cook, Sheridan are big losses for the club. Richter, Borholm were quite selfish players, yes you would like them in your team, but losing them is not all bad for the unity of the squad, as for Zorich, West and co, i think you would find they were playing A grade due to lack of depth, harsh but fair.

We have picked up a lot of new, young players as well as the 'fossils'. To me, i think and hope it will be the right mix.

What are Flinders Park like in this comp? Mt Lofty will be playing them in a 20/20 comp at Happy Valley sometime in the next couple of weeks (if not this Friday night) and wondered how they compared to Edwardstown who were in the comp last year. Know it is only early season hit out without all players potentially, but is a good guide to the year.
We want Vaughn.

Spearhead they have come up from Div 3 last year so there is nothing to measure them against in Div 2.

Pretty much same squad.....Does that mean Kluzek and Pesch are going around again......? Almost certain Kluey has retired and would have thought Pesch would do the same. Thats a couple of decent losses....
