Cab seemed pretty certain we were having it at home. Nivo told me it was at Kilburn though, so perhaps the decision is yet to be finalised.

Jason Gillespie's 20/20 Testimonial game at Glandore Oval this Sunday February 8th 2009.

The game is supporting Jasons Testimonial year at the Adelaide Cricket Club and also the McGrath Foundation- Entry is a Gold Coin Donation. The match will commence at 1pm food and drink available throughout the day.

The Adelaide Buffalo All*Star Team is as normal for a 20/20 match.

Dizzy's International All*Star Team includes stars such as:

Boof Lehmann
James Brayshaw
Jason Gillespie (Captain)
Glenn McGrath
amongst others.

Whilst it is played at Glandore Oval, attending this event in no way makes you a supporter of the WOSFC, so you can feel free to attend despite our ongoing rivalries. :)

Must've been happy with the turnout, LB. Not sure if you walked past me a couple of times - people look different when they don't have a number on their back ;)

How good were the cricketers though, always happy to sign autographs, I reckon Pidge did signings and photos for just about the entire first innings (only stopped to eat a couple of snags, one of which Dizzy stole anyway!). Was pretty stoked to get his, Dizzy's and Boof's signatures on a few cricket balls, they'll come in handy for some fundraising this year.

I agree mate. It was a great turnout and the cricketers were really generous I thought. Didn't see a single request for autograph or photo get knocked back and they tried their best to make themselves available too.

Hope you enjoyed the day and very smart to find a way to make it a fundraiser for Houghton too. Gold. :)

Yeah, the missus managed to snag Pigeon's signature. He was her favourite player when he was in Aussie colours (not a bad effort considering I had to drag her along). A good day out. Well done for organising it.
