Also down the hill you have been quiet. Have you got nothink to say. Can you also confirm that Brighton have picked up 4-5 new players that are over 6ft 3 and are looking a very different side? You would think rd 1 at the bay against marion there would be a good crowd.

GTP, Patty Walton is on holidays from the Army and is just having a run to keep his fitness levels up. Would be great to have him back as he is a terrific player and club man. We will just have to make do with his brother, Matt, who is looking at having a real crack this year.

pat walton will play limited games if any for flaggies as he is still based in canberra for the army, but yes his services would be valuable for them. heard he got offered alot of coin elsewhere but stayed loyal to flaggies, quite rare if you ask me, shows some character about him

This the same "Loyal" Pat Walton ex Reynella Junior who signed with Marion then when he got more coin at Flagstaff Hill signed with them?
The Army training must have created some loyalty and changed his character?????

You obviously have no idea Leg Rope! Pat Walton signed on with Flaggies as is very good mates with our captain at the time. Money had nothing to do with it as everyone on here would know that Flaggies cannot and could not have competed with Marion in the money stakes. And I think playing with mates rather than chasing big coin (which Marion were offering) does show character.....

Harris hasnt been given his marching orders but guys wont be getting away with some of the things they have in the past under Patterson. Good core of players are training hard at the moment and guys are looking fitter than ever before. If guys dont want to put in the hard yards they may find themselves down the pecking order.

Need a bit of an off-season break from the forum but still touching base with the banter. Only major out for the Bombers is Statham who has been lured to the South-East with some old Bay mates. Troy Butcher has joined us from Reynella and I'm sure the aroma of lattes from Jetty Rd, Brighton and no ugg boots will bring the best out of Troy. Troy's brother already plays with us. And yes GTP, we have added some much needed height from outside the SFL along with some very good young lads returning from the Bay plus plenty of Under 18 premiership players.

Also believe they are looking at getting ex Morphies Premiership player James Harris. Not sure if it has actually gone thru tho.

He certainly will fit in with the "culture" down at Brighton Road tho....
