Correct Flip, we have dropped the Old Scholar's tag but as for the reasoning I am not really sure.

But I think that relegation has sparked are few to pull their collective fingers out and change a few things about the place. Went to training during the week just to observe and it was good to see 25+ plus at training from across all 3 grades. The new coach has brought some fresh ideas and enthusiasm which hopefully translate into some on field success.

Hopefully the Club will be able to unveil a new "gun" recruit this week ;) ;)

Dont keep us in suspense - who is this gun recruit?

Actually the "gun" recruit should be recruits as I found out last night. 1 of them trained last night for the first time and I can tell you the one that trained has played at the highest level (some will debate this point ;) ) and at 3 different SANFL clubs. As for the other I think he can stay a secret a little longer yet.........

and Zed try some different bait as the Glenunga story is crap its full steam ahead for the blue bandwagon as a fair few of them fell off it last year.

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Even says it on Wikipedia, so it must be true  He did only play for Sturt and North, must be someone else then?

If you check Spell Check's list of every player to play a league game he lists South/North obviously he hasn't updated it to include Sturt yet. Must have played only a handful of games before requesting a transfer under the SANFL's AFL listed player rules

Yeah it was. I'm trying to find some stats on it but I think South have erased it from the history books ;)

You are right - he didn't know how to handle the handpasses going 5 metres behind him and the kicks always landing at his feet, or on his opponents chest lace out ;)
