From what i hear, the meeting being called is not just about the loss of players, but another issue.

Haven have lost a fair chunk of last years u18s side.

We lost a whole A grade side 3 years ago, but it gave a whole new group of blokes an opportunity. Many of them were chucked in the deep end, and played A grade footy before they were really ready. We did have a very good u17 side in 2003/2004, which helped the cause.

What is issue Felch?
As an aside is that Eagles kid who won the u/19's medal still at WWT or playing with Portland? That kid can play...

Im not going to mention the issue on here, as some pretty serious allegations are being thrown around.

Harris got dumped by the Eagles, and is currently training at the Magpies. He will play for us if when he is not required by them. He played 3 games for us last year, and polled 9 votes in the D4 medal !!!

Sounds serious...yep i had heard that Eagles cut him. I have heard that the new CEO there was not happy with the way their coaching staff treated kids moving into senior footy - no phone call, just a standard letter. Particularly one who has won the U/19 medal!! Good luck to him as i only swa him play once for Eags and i was surprised he was not in the ressies

he started in the A's last season
and as far as I was aware, was struggling to keep his spot in thr B's by the end of the year!!

Ching Ching... money money money... I dont know what you blokes think Greenacres pay but souldnt they of recruited a lot more name players if they had a lot of coin. I am open for anyone to quote the name players they have signed chasing coin. Does anyone realise the club does not get any bar takings, no pokies revnue and relys monthly lease payments from an outside body "North Adelaide" to cover football budgets.

Not crying poverty in anyway but put a lid on it, its stale. Yes they are in a good position with a guaranteed revenue each year but with no ability other than sponsors to raise more. I am sure there are lots of clubs that are jealous of this revenue but it does not mean lots of coin for the club. Now you can listen to facts or continue the crap.

Can Golden Grove confirm the signing of a 6'6" ruckman from Sturt, think his name was Jarrod ??. best player in sturts 19s last year including grand final, sturt wanted to keep him and confirmed he would play league this year but couldnt make him stay. Big signing,,, congrats if its true
