You are correct bobster. I think we probably just meant to agree in theory that Cally wouldn't be able to field an 'A' Grade. The only option if they can't is to field a 'C' Grade, and they'd want to sort that one out well before the last minute.

Milang used to only have a B-grade for a number of years, unless they have changed the rule over the last decade

Basically you come ninth - you are able to have 9 new recruits the next year, 5th - 5, 1st just the one etc.
Permits could hold for two years.
Would encourage promotion of juniors and retention of any recruits.

Would even up the comp - on the Yorke's the Southern Eagles won the flag from fifth this year in a league where there aren't too many blowouts...

Does the YP still have this rule? Thought they changed it a couple of years ago so all clubs were allowed four outsiders.

Woops, sumfin seems to have gone awry here. I, The Crumber only wrote the par beginning 'You are correct bobster'. Didn't write anything about bubbles or Milang

I beleive they have picked up Ash Manuel from Henley. Also played at Langhorne Creek and South

The RAMS are travelling well, consistent numbers on the track with some quality recruits. Once the list is finalised more will be revealed. New Coach Minervini has been a great pick up and will add a lot to the Club. :D

Yeah, I know mate. I stuffed it up because there were too many quotes already.

Anyway, my point was Milang only had a B-grade for a number of years, so they might let Callington do it for a couple provided they can show they are working towards rebuilding an A-grade.

So Owen/Sherrin, while you're here, what's the story re clubs fielding B or C grades only and no A's?

I was thinking Chris Groom.

Crumber no probs with Callington going B and C. At least this way they would remain with Hills League, not Murray, and be competitive to some degree.

Anymore news on kangarillas ins and outs for 09?
I got told that theyre first pre season run turned into a pre season spray with a double time trial after one player didnt complete the first run to an acceptable standard. Great way to introduce new recruits to the club and start on a positive note!

Nairne have a few new recruits floating around the traps in 09, should be once again around the mark with thier running youngsters and thier new tall forwards..
Beats me though that a couple of them could be getting paid 250 a game after watching them at previous clubs.
Definately not all cracked up to be, will be keeping a close watch thats for sure!

Have meadows got any players left whos gone and whos sticking around to rebuild?
Heard that the Bailey boys were contemplating leaving to play in the SFL?
New recruits?

no "pre season spray" as you said trix. the time trial was ran twice as a large number of players did not complete to run correctly along with the fitness man. i think it is a positive start for the recruits as they now know there will be no shortcuts during pre season and regular season

I doubt Blake Turner would be getting paid to play out there, I know he has some mates out that way, and my guess would be he will be just playing B grade this year along side them.

Agreed, I heard there were quite a few blokes who did not follow the instructions so they, as a team, had to do it again. I bet they wont make the same mistake again.
