After taking a hefty punch last week, I have hit the canvass, and down for the count. But the smelling salts were used, and there is still life...(just)....

Tonight, I am flying to Melbourne for the next 15-days. I will venture to all three codes in Melb. and will let you know how it all is going in "sunny" Victoria.

For the Valley, tomorrow night, here is a brief rundown.
Race-1...a standing start, only three chances, 1,2 and 5.
Race-4, for the M2-M3, and Blakey (no.4) could prove to be the best.
Race-5...sees Mythical Beast from Adelaide up against a good field of M1 horses, including last weeks winner in Hei Heir.
Race-6...is a lottery. Use your favourite numbers.
Race-8...will by itself make my trip worthwhile. Sokyola is up against Scruffy Murphy, in a small but select field.
Race-9...is a restricted class field. Of the 11-runners, only two have won a race in their last three starts. Not a good field. But, it is where I have found tonights one and only bet. No.1...No Joking, who finally draws perfectly for him, in a field he can win. The bet is $10 E/W.

Then off to Caulfield on Saturday afternoon, The Meadows on Sat. night, and Ballarat trots on Sunday. I think I get one rest day in the next 15-days.....I have to go to a funeral....hopefully not my own.

im off to melb fri week, was initially going to be a footy weekend full of 4 AFL games but i dont think ill go to any as what i have seen have been fairly boring.

i hope to go the dogs on the sat.

fair dinkum the whole stable is going interstate, im off on the bird tomorrow for some R & R on the Sunshine and Gold Coasts for the next 9 nights...hope to get to the Gabba for Bris/WCE on Sun and Albion Park next Thursday and maybe Gold Coast dogs in between beers and some surfing.

Im taking the laptop so I can keep the $$$$ rolling in while up there!
