Unsure which umpire.

West got a 100 metre penalty basically after an off the ball incident where Caolan Buckley was grabbed by the neck, slung to the ground and then had a knee thumped into his back by Ivan Maric (the 2nd incident involving Buckley in the space of 2 minutes). He got the free kick across Centre Half Forward.

He kicked to the leading Ben Haynes who marked about 20 out on a 30 degree angle. He turned around to Matthew Lokan (who had been antagonising him all game) and said a few words, Lokan said a few words back so Haynes headbutted him. Not hard, but the umpire was 2 feet away looking straight at him. Instant report and 50 metre penalty.

Macca, did you think it was any worse than Maric putting his knee into Buckley's back?

Certainly Clayton's swinging punches at Buckley had to have been reported if it had been seen.

There seemed to be a different view of Haynes (4 frees against) to that of Clayton (6, yes 6, frees for) on the day.

No bearing on the result, but the umpires seemed to have decided beforehand who was the good guy and who was the bad.

Not like Lokan didn't have it coming to him (just for something different  )

Reprimand? Chambers got 2 weeks - sorry make that 3 weeks - for the same act.

Buckley threw just as many at Clayton and started the whole thing anyway.

Yes I certainly think Maric should have been reported for what he did. The fact he had a free against him for it makes it unbelivable that he wasnt reported.
