Lets just say there was some mis-communication between us and Woody Sth...

Probably better not to play someone in our own grade anyway.

March the 7th due to not having enough numbers.

Hope this is because cricket or something as first round is only 4 weeks after that.

Surely they can get 25-30 for a trial.
Not sure where you got your info from mate, but we had almost 40 training tonight, and we haven't scheduled a trial for March 7th. We're playing one on Sunday 8th.

Who do you play on the 8th?

I heard you were suppose to play Woodville south at Thebarton oval on the 7th
and pulled out.
I think there was talk pre-Christmas about playing Woodville South in a trial, but that was the last I'd heard of it. Might have been before we were confirmed in Div 3 and the club then decided they didn't want to play someone in the same division (not entirely sure, it would be my logical guess though), hence why we're also not playing SMOSH this year like we usually do. But like I said, this was before Christmas, I haven't heard anything about it since we came back to training.

Believe we're playing Moonta on the 8th.
The Big Shrek wrote:Pag, maybe you should train with the baby blue jumpers on to get used to them. That way you might not kick it to me this year.
We might actually do that in the week leading up to playing you. While we're giving out coaching tips, may I suggest you call in a sports psychologist before you head out our way, just to try heal the wounds of the horrific back injury you sustained while losing your chance at Div 2 at Salisbury Oval. ;)

Zinger from Pag? Is he going to use the same bloke to heal the wounds of losing nearly every home game(and for hitting me on the chest with his only kick of the game).

Tell everyone how you had to tag me Pag!

Can we add Scotch O.C. to the list as potential Grand Finalists yet?

Let that be a lesson to you, Port Adelaide Sturt. & Norwood You don't beat Glenelg in Grand Finals and get away with it.

Won 4/9 at home mate, not quite 'losing nearly every game'. I didn't think I tagged you, pretty sure I was trying to mind Calyun, but whatever you wanna remember is OK by me mate. ;)

On another note, if you want some entertainment on Sunday, Salisbury Oval is hosting the annual NDCC v CDFC 20/20 Match at 3pm (featuring Gowans twins, Paul Thomas & co), with the curtain-raiser NDCC D Grade v SFC 20/20 from 12pm. I'll be on the outer hill under the pines, as standing in the sun isn't my thing, but hopefully the boys make at least a couple and don't embarass themselves too much.

I spent half an hour rolling the arm over in the nets yesterday and I'm red raw today. Even if I was named to play, I'd be a late withdrawal.

Nothing is definite until after the nominations are closed off and the programs have been released, if we went by everything that is written on here we'd be in a lot of trouble.

How are you boys going to go Fisty? Its a big task going up a div and being competitive.

The dolphins tried Div 4 a couple of years ago and went straight back down by a game and % to Flinders Park in 07. The club just wasnt prepared look some valuable lessons though.

I think you definatly have the potential to consolidate in Div3 but im a lil worried about Mitcham (only going on what i seen the 2 times cbc played them).

I think portland will be a solid outfit this year in both grades they have good depth. would think they would win enough games to stay up. Mitcham is a bit of a unknown, but on there home deck they will be tough to beat.
We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.
