Apparently Langer was pretty impressed with him after he bowled to him during the Test match and said he'd be welcome over in WA if he was looking for a first class career.

Unfortunately it's not bowlers that are SA's biggest problem.

DUTCHY if the SACA dont sign him up recruit him to to the Mt Lofty cricket club.
He is that quick If I faced him it would be a case of Late Mal.
Lets watch his progress for WT, dare I say a contender for MALS next generation stable.

Well spotted Dutchy.
When bowling on leg stump Hussey was in control
Hussey played a couple of spanking off drives.
however when George bowled on or outside off peg he had Hussey in some discomfort.
He beat Hussey with a couple of rip snorters.
Hussey allowed a lot of balls to pass through.

Botheras the EG batsman[is that his name] was impressed with his reverse swing
GEORGE cut him in half a couple of times as well.
One ball was a brute pitched off and went past leg chest height ...whooooooosh.
Only the doosra I bowled to MT79 in the nets beat that ball as the best of the day. :prayer:

Wow what a day first GEORGE then MT79

bloody mal was right, he keeps telling me he is a great judge of talent & this proves it, i recall seeing him bowl & thought he's raw, quick but doesn't look strong enough to bowl long spells, i was wrong in that
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Off Topic
About 20 years ago Rod Marsh had the privillege to have a chat with me
We chatted about the Acadamey
Rod told me about this lad that was going to be a star spin bowler
He said when ge bowls you can hear the ball fizzing
I then told a few people about this player that was gunna be a champion spinner for Australia
That spinner , Shane Keith Warne
When he made his debut, I gloated
After his debut game, I was stirred up by a couple of mates !

Im hoping Peter George has a better debut game and becomes the BIG name player

We constantly hear about when the run maXchine Mick Klinger was dropped from the SA Ford Ranger Cup team last year and that was a blunder[made most FR runs for SA !!!]
After about the 2nd game of the Ford Ranger last year Peter George was dropped after taking about 0/16 of 10 overs !!!!
Perhaps the SA selectors deserve the credit for inspiring the run maXchine and Peter George !

Peter George is being compared to Ooooh Aaaaah
Lets hope he is 3/4 as good
