Brahma Lodge i think you'll find Quichey...very chummy with them friday night ;)

Correct, along with Verbis and Stansborough, they told the AV coach on Friday that they were going to play at the Lodge, they were going to play Friday night, I don't know why they didn't, they were all there.

I agree that St. Pauls will be the team to beat this year. Teams will have to bring their A grade game to beat them from what I have heard about their recruiting.

Henley
Also you would think that Henley having played in last years grand final would be another team that you would have to be at your best to beat. They played well in last years grand final only to be beaten by a very good unit in Paralowie.

Angle Vale
Angle Vale apparently looked very good in patches in their trial on Friday night. Dont really know a whole lot about them but heard they looked ok.

Houghton
One thing I have learnt about Houghton is never count them out. I think that they will be better then some people think.

Adelaide University
They had the fourth best back line last year but only one player in the top 20 goal kickers so I will put them up as a smokey for this year. So if they have recruited well in the forward or midfield areas I think they will be a threat this year.

I think that Ovingham, North Pines, Athelstone and Flinders Park will be competitive but not sure on Sacred Heart.

Overall I think it should be a Good grade and should be a very interesting grade to follow this year.

What have you heard? I hope you're not going on what Bradman has been saying :D

Like I think I may have said before I rate St. Pauls and always have. I was suprised back in 06 when wingfield beat you guys at St. Pauls . Just reminding Bradman of that particular year and that particular game that even the best players in the comp can have very ordinary finals series. ;) By the way I know that Wingies then took Houghton for granted and were beaten by the better team on that particular day.

If he's from Kersbrook and you're posting on this thread I can only assume Houghton could be a possibility for this bloke with the close ties there.....If not happy to welcome him to St Paul's as we have a couple kersbrook lads running around with us also :D

It's probably all just smoke and mirrors. Can't trust a bloke with a few posts to his name, surely?

the c grades reflect the higher grades - in know from last year modbury would have been competitive in c1 - maybe even have made the gf and if they did then ovingham would have been around the place.
1 team sides give me the sheets but i guess overall its better to have a club than no club
