Hickmont has a couple of runners - back them each way - he always gets things up at big odds.....

good day at the bridge...got there for race 4, caught up with my cricketing team mate who had the bottom weight in the race (he is a 21yo trainer), he said she would run in the first 5, I had 10 win and 15 place @ 60/1 and then had a tip for No. 4 (thanks Mal ;) ), had $40 win @ $2.70 and then put the quinella on.....Diesel leads and Rose of Nirvana sits outside it the whole way and Diesel wins by about a neck....got winner, a nice place divvy on the 2nd horse and the quniella that paid $59!!!! great start to the day, held ontot he profits most of the day despite CC going poorly, had excuses though, then jagged the Brisbane treble with my mate at the end fo the day :D

would encourage anyone to go bush for a midweek meeting, a good day out

Murray Bridge is classed provincial, same as gawler , strath, balaklava, however with the closure of 2 adelaide tracks and the new development of gawler and the bridge , expect to see a lot more meetings at these venues , including some saturday meetings. The new track will be 35 minutes from the toll gate up the freeway.

I'm not sure about my mum's pubic hair state at the time of my birth, but I'm glad you found some photos of yours SJAB.

Murray Bridge is bush. Plenty of country hicks lurking in that town just the same as there is in any town around that size.

Country/Bush same thing. Any town population between 1 and say 25,000 can be considered bush IMO.

It wasn't meant to be so serious, Dutchy. I just think of bush as being the middle of nowhere, and I certainly don't feel like I live in the middle of nowhere!!
