ins, outs?
Couple of outs that have been mentioned already somewhere, got a few new guys training but as far as I know none have signed clearances as of yet so they're not official Ins at the moment. Very confident they'll be in black and white though.
poached players or just turned up at salbry oval? very confident? big loss the full forward any replacement there?
Depends what you call 'poached'. You could probably tell me everything we need to know, you seem to know we've lost a full forward, why ask about our outs if you know them anyway?

I'm not having a go, just thought it was interesting that you could answer your own question.
all i did was go back and read a few posts, after you mentioned it had been mentioned a bit earlier.
thats cleared up any other salisbury news? any ideas for us on who these players are, and what standard/division/association they have come from?

Fair call. Schutt to Virginia and Capogreco to Gepps.

As far as the ins I'm not sure of full names, as I said they've been training but haven't yet signed paperwork. Don't think it's right yet to announce these guys as confirmed without clearances going through, but they seem to go OK and fit in with the boys pretty well.

old iggies have been very quiet. i would have them in the top 3 with such players as whitemen going out there. heard they have picked a few others, Kerins former sturt junior has left scotch to return back. any other news.

Rolfe gone until maybe the last few games. Don't think Carlo is coming back and he played half a year last year. I reckon they'll do about the same as last year.

Iggies don't come across to me as a club serious about going up the divs, they're more about having a kick with their mates.

Interested Observer, I'm not sure what Gino's opinion is, I haven't seen him for a while as he has no official role within the club now as he's the SAAFL President.

to go with that
they have a young squad, that has now played a few years of senior footy

Iron so the comp has not changed from 2 years ago? Kluzek played 2 years ago.? alot changes I am pretty sure other teams would have picked up players aswell I have no doubt SMOSH will be around the mark, just a big call to state top 2 this early.

I would have thought the playing group wouuld have been shattered that the club decided they should drop down when the earned the right to stay in Div 2.

that is true scout
but majority of smosh players are still around
and like i said, alot are still fairly young, take sam white, last years b&f winner isnt 21 yet, Ralston, May, Jackson and others are all only 24yrs old, they are no coming into there prime of footy!
there are more names that I can rattle of to say why they will be top 2 IMO!

I agree, the playing grroup should be shattered that they werent given the chance to paly div 2 again and try and cut it at that level!
all the more reason to dominate this year and get back where they should be this season!!
