Luke Ivens

Any truth to the rumour Luke Ivens has cracked the shirty's over North's recent spending spree and apparent overpaying to (in his opinion) lesser players?

Is he contracted for 2006?

No truth at all TB. The NAFC is everything to Luke and he was proud as punch to win the B&F.

I can tell you we signed an Essendon player yesterday.

Mate of mine gave me the tip off about Luke Ivens...won't be naming anyone or attempting to substantiate it. He could be 100% NAFC as you say...doesn't mean he doesn't get annoyed when particular things occur...albeit I don't make a habit of going onto footysa to make up rumours or inuendo.

If my source is wrong...so be it.

Why would Ivens get pissed off about match payments - all our top players are on pretty much th same these days after debacles in 2002/2003 with some players getting over the odds and underperforming. How do these stories start?

Luke Ivens is an absolute Gun - Top Bloke - great football player - He would never get annoyed with anything that the NAFC does he loves the club and will one day captain the football club if he is not drafted.

Although this bloke could get paid a heap at any other club he doesnt play for my but the love of the club . . .

Boy how the eagles stuffed up on him - dropping him from the under 17s.

It is usually the club men you get pissed off at over-priced recruits, because these guys are the heart and soul of the club and the ones that usually get shafted because the club takes there loyalty for granted

And was made by a supporter of another club who hasn't been heard from since (who knows). What has happened to TigerBoss?
