We were due to play Moonta but been cancelled due to both ovals being double booked, so playing an internal instead.

poached players or just turned up at salbry oval? very confident? big loss the full forward any replacement there?
Depends what you call 'poached'. You could probably tell me everything we need to know, you seem to know we've lost a full forward, why ask about our outs if you know them anyway?

I'm not having a go, just thought it was interesting that you could answer your own question.
all i did was go back and read a few posts, after you mentioned it had been mentioned a bit earlier.
thats cleared up any other salisbury news? any ideas for us on who these players are, and what standard/division/association they have come from?
Fair call. Schutt to Virginia and Capogreco to Gepps.

As far as the ins I'm not sure of full names, as I said they've been training but haven't yet signed paperwork. Don't think it's right yet to announce these guys as confirmed without clearances going through, but they seem to go OK and fit in with the boys pretty well.
one of them wouldnt be the jets a grade captain when cozzie is away would it??

Beinke is one other name i hear playing for them
Sell the Hackney Hotel, then all these players arrive......I wonder why ????????

As far as I know star, he officially is at Modbury, whether he chooses to leave and wear black and white (where he is very welcome) or not is up to him... ;)

Hanno, have you or any of the other PH boys heard about you guys possibly visiting us on ANZAC Day? Should be an awesome day if it happens.

Ah, I probably should've guessed.

Quichey wrote:Hey Pag, how did Matthew Franceschinis go last year?
Frangas goes alright mate, played off a wing, but has the height to be very flexible. Spent some time at full-back when needed, and played most of the 2007 finals at CHF due to an injury.

He's trained very well when he's been out, very fit as you'd expect from a district cricketer. He'll hopefully play at Salisbury, as the players and coaching staff are excited about having him, and he can probably play in whatever position he wants ;)

$0.00. Just a good relationship between the footy and cricket clubs. I think a few guys buy him a beer or two to never bowl at them again though.
