Former Crows captain Mark Ricciuto hurt in bike crash

FORMER Adelaide Crows captain Mark Ricciuto was injured while riding his bicycle at Leawood Gardens yesterday. Ricciuto, 33, is believed to have collided with a car on Old Mount Barker Rd before 9.30am. The ex-footballer's manager Justin Reid said the driver stopped and Ricciuto was taken to hospital, believed to be the Royal Adelaide, for treatment. "He was wearing a helmet but he had a gash on his head and he had stitches," Mr Reid said. Ricciuto underwent a precautionary scan of his head and neck.

Looks like I'll have to stand Darren Jarman at Norwood Oval in the 1st game. I'd be the only other one over 100kgs on the ground

How would you feel being the bloke that ran over Mark Ricciuto?

Probably a Port Supporter... or Darren Jarman ;)

Jimmy, you have let it go on long enough without giving me the info on Rocky, what is the news?

Would be a bit of a fizzer if Roo doesn't play in the first game now. Although if Jimmy was to line up on Jarman that would surely bring in the big crowds.

Definitely a big crowd in the forward/back pocket - he'd probably want to wax with me so it would be a bit disappointing

I was right about his original job, but as I suspect you already know, it started going haywire when some of your players were approached.

Rocky was a man of his word.....others may not have been.

Gotta give it to him - the man has some morals

11 years is a long time to be at a footy club in a coach only capacity, you certainly are not afforded that time if you are not well liked and true to your word.

Having said that, it is a questionable move to head to a team in the same division the same year as the move. What I find interesting is that one his biggest critics would follow him to PAC. I wont name names but he has been mentioned before.

Umm this thread is/was never on track with talk about Div 4 footy......why change now?
Point taken though.

Ha ha, Portland are in div 3 and Cash Haven are folding, but the div 4 thread will always be the hub for pointless discussion.

Thus your input Shrek....

Or 'heck' that blokes head is attached directly to his shoulders !!

He has a few contacts there which swayed him - Riccutto, Mooca, Marshy and Dave Turner - you can probably work the last one out

We could do a SAAFL one.

$30 a league though.

I could set it up. Are there 30 people who wanna send me $1 through paypal? :P
