As for the farmers playing superrules, i believe Mooney, Collins, Mallia, Lucivero, Mesecke, Stanton and Tutthill have all been training at East Demons and Hawksworth will play for IF and ED as he has for 3 or 4 years now. Word out of Athelstone is they are looking pretty strong this year.

I don't think there is anyone on this forum that would disagree with you on this point. It's a pity the Farmers cannot squeeze one more year out of the champ. The younger players would stand a lot taller and learn a lot from having him around.
