we play them this Friday night at the Shoe and look forward to a good hit out and expect a great crowd.

What time is it all kicking off?

Supposed to be 6PM, 6 "quarters". Reckon there may only be 4 quarters depending on numbers on both sides, weather is looking alright as well so should be a great night!

We would love to play 8 quaters. Last night 56 on the track and as we had a side pull out of our 18 trial these lads would love a run also.
Oval is looking great and yes the bar will be open outside and in and bazz will look after all at the bbq.

Got 4 teams in the cricket GF's the next day, so there may be a few missing..
Looking forward to the hit out though, is the bar open afterwards? Might be keen for a few bevvies afterwards.

As above, not sure how many players will not play tonight due to cricket GF's tomorrow, could be heaps, or could be only a couple..

Good numbers at training last night, most of them A Graders, quite a few young fellas to come up from Senior Colts. Very positive reports regarding the coach. Good to hear Quichey. I won't make any more comments on that 'til the season is underway, but I will exhume my prediction after a few rounds if necessary! I have also heard very positive reports about the coach.

Watched the Nairne v Noarlunga game, and must say that Nairn looked very undermanned and lacking severe height. Looked to be a few Senior Colts playing. Standout was the number 13 fella, dominated all game. Noarlunga by about 3-4 goals in the A's and same in the B's. Noarlunga showed signs of being a better side this year, and were close to full strength

Yep, we had 3 guy recently retired playing, coupla colts, couple B graders. Struggled for numbers due to cricket GF. Good hit our though, Noarlunga had a lot of young runners off half back and through the middle, the Nairne old fellas playing couldn't keep up!

Not too long now before the business starts. Any last minute Big News. From All accounts Torrens Valley looked pretty comfortable against Fiztroy. Took a while to get going but once they decided to play Fiztory rearly touched the ball.

This year we had one laid same as Kangies and over winter it is covered in rubber balls? We had a trial on Fri night and a few lads made comment regarding carpet like burns.

Spoke with council and they say it complies with OHS.
