Not sure whether the Reds would take a chance & pay that sort of money knowing they may only get 1-5 games out of him!
Whats the scoop down at Big Reds?

I have heard that the SAAFL have refused Encounter Bays request for $700 and Marc WILL be cleared to Para Hills

If that is true thats another example of what a joke the Amateur League is. The League makes Seaton pay Henley F\C $750 i believe for Marc a few years ago???what a joke .
What an fine example set by Shadiac & Co. Now i can see why Henley were given the catering rights to Thebby Oval finals time.

The facts are that Encounter bay wanted the $700 for Marc for what they paid for his services LAST YEAR. Why should Para Hills pay for what has already been done. Encounter Bay got his services for 2008 thats what they paid for. They should have made him sign a contract, but they didn't.

Ok the cox thing is done and dusted so let it go.

On todays trial against Pembroke i was impressed with all new players and existing players as well, was a great hit out and showed that some of Para Hills recruiting was well placed, although scores dont mean much in trials a 2 point victory with a lot of players missing was encouraging.

TIP - Keep your eye on the new boy from N.T. think he just may turn out to be a surprise package.

The SAAFL may have the power to regulate affairs between its member clubs but I doubt they can do the same for inter-league clearances. That would be up to the SANFL.

scores today were hard as no scoreboard but from scores kept by spectators

C Grade won by 11 points

B grade no certainty but think they won

A grade defeated Fitzroy by 9 goals that is accurate
