They're just down on form mate ... Still have enough quality to trouble any side imho, and the footy Gods didn't help them last night as they played well throughout the first half, but met an in-form keeper and a couple of unstoppable shots, one of which was very much against the run of play.

probably, just funny when ever a side breaks into the so called top four teams in the top four spots they do well for a while but then fall apart. im not worried tho, makes it easier for us gunners to move forward.

Liverpool have proved me wrong. I was sure they would drop points last night. They are now good enough to challenge for 2nd this season. Man United still have it wrapped up IMO

Liverpool will do well to finish higher than 3rd. Remember Chelsea has Guus!

Guus didn't help Chavski on the weekend ;)

And would you be more or less surprised if the Goons beat you than you were at Spurs beating you?

I would be more surprised. I had a feeling we would drop points on the weekend. But didnt think we would lose.

IMO. on the games I've seent his year, Liverpool are a better TEAM than Chavski. The Chavs may have more individually brilliant world class talent, but Liverpool have team balance and work brilliantly as a unit.

Plus they have Stevie G who's on fire at the moment and has 20 goals so far this season - 20 goals!!!

Compare that to Chavski who have Lumpard and Ballack - Was Fat Frank even playing on Saturday? And Ballack just made dodgy challenges all day.

Essien is quality though.

BUT - Liverpool will finish higher than Chavski IMO. Can't wait for the Champions League Games either!

Im not priveleged enough to watch any matches on fox, but keep up to date by listening to commentary and updates on the radio. I hope you are wrong. In the past Liverpool would go well against teams around them, but would slack off against easier opponents. Like a few weeks ago losing 2-0 to boro. Stevie G is class. What a gun. Better than Lampard. Lampard hasnt had a great season by the sounds of it, but hopefully he can lift towards the end of the season. Maybe against Liverpool ;) Essien is a gun! :D

I agree with that. Chavski will almost alway grind out a result against a WBA or Stoke or the likes, even if they play badley, they'll usually win those games. Liverpool have corrected that to an extent this year, but did slip up against Boro.

Liverpool have turned the corner though. Their style of football is suited to the two leg champions league style of game. They will need to win a Premiership to convince me they are a great team.

I say that Pidge because if you've seen the way liverpool have been playing lately, their is no way they will finish any lower than 2nd.

In fact, with all the prawn sandwich eating players suspended for the mancs in upcoming games, I can see LIverpool taking the title the way we are currently playing.

Actually, that's been our achilles heal this year ... Having done the double over Chelsea and Man U, and drawing against Arsenal, we've earnt up to 6 points more than we have from those games in recent seasons, it's been the inability to beat Fulham, Stoke, Hull etc that's really hurt ... I think we've had 3 or 4 losses less than Man U, but obviously the Mancs have won a lot more games than us.

We couldn't beat them at home last time either which was a disappointing result ... Hopefully we can maintain our current form (which is better than at anytime this year imho) and come away with the points, 1-0 would be fine.
