[Phantom Gossiper]

Congratulation to all the GF winners on the weekend. I must admit I would love to have played on the weekend. It has been noted that Mr Herder appears to be quite chuffed with his award too.

On a very sad note Mr Phantom Dale Kickett Gossiper has just realized it is very difficult to win life membership especially when you are at a different club each year. Don’t panic Mr Gossiper we dont want all those chins wobbling out of control. Your always eligible for recruit of the year……

haha! Fair call! But i dont move clubs for life membership, i move clubs for the mateship and to try and better myself as a cricketer.

Also life memberships are earnt not won

As for those chins i can assure you im doing my upmost best to halve it by next season... only 3 chins

Phantom let me inform you the only fear I would have of you would be in a pie and donut eating competion ( NUM NUM ) You refer to what YOU have ( ACHIEVED ) once again this has the distinct fimiliarity of self promotion which appears to be something you do over achieve in , along with body mass index ( CHAFE CHAFE CHAFE ) and leaving a trail of disgruntled people in your wake . Im sure you will also make an impression on your new club in what I predict will be a very short encounter . Enough of the he said she said , let there be no mistake , regardless of age pain is universal and does not discriminate .

I think Adelaide Lutheran never should have gone down to Div 2 this season and they will go alright in Div 1, the last finals spot this year came down to results on the last game of the year, i think an 8 team Div 1 is very capable however i do wonder about the 8th team.... I just think that Div 1 is the pinnacle and should be as hottly contested as possible

Im all for an 8 team div 1 IF the standard can remain the same and get better otherwise no.

Phantom there is only one thing worse than a poor loser and that is a poor winner , however I would expect nothing less from the immature attention seeking exhibitionists that you are . Having played in premierships previously I derived my pleasure from sharing our success not focusing on the other teams loss and at times having respect and empathy for thier situation . Its my opinion that you obviously get your enjoyment from different sources than myself . Instead of taunting the Enfield Div 5 boys I suggest you direct your ridicule toward myself . I believe it was my mistake that cost us the flag by putting down a catch when a batsman was on less than double figures and he went on to make a matchwinning 56 not out . I am man enough to take reasponsability for that and my only regret is unintentionally letting my mates down but Im sure they are well aware it did not come about due to lack of desire or application . That is the highs and lows of sports and I will live to fight another day endeavouring not to make the same mistake again . Your comments seem ironic considering you were at my club after the game and yet did not have the courage to look me in the eye , which I think is a direct reflection on the type of person that you are . It was out of respect for my fellow team mates and club members that I showed restraint and did not vent my feelings toward you . The gloves are off you have crossed the line of no return and be assured there will be a time you will reflect on this situation with much regret . By the way I will confirm your presumption and inform you that this is Grant a proud member of a team full of great blokes . DING DING

let me guess pidge is it morialta you dont rate? let me tell you ( south african) if we had a full strength side this year we would beat you by just a bit more than a couople of runs, cree , crakers, and hill were all out for the majority of the year , also with greg baker out and brenny may only playing a couple of games in the a grade if we had them five in our regular side and of course myself I hate to say it but would have finished right along side pv and nek

Morialta have always (since fitzroy have been in this league) been a gun bowling side but lack the decent batters to go all the way IMO. Anyway whats happening with next year, have heard a few blokes are moving on.

as i recall auto, cree only made 20 runs and only took 2 wickets, how did he save us, there were better performers in the match! and as for what beam feltus was saying about morialta, we cant make excuse for players that should have been there! we did well for what we had, making the finals was a great effort by the boys i put on the park each week, we had some great wins especially against Fitzroy!!!!!!

yeh a few will be leaving. reasons including club politics where the sole focus of the club is the "B" grade, i cant work with that!

Ahh ok then fair enough, yeah i can see how he can't be controlled, even when we played you guys he was the only issue, it sucks having players like that who bring down the teams morale on field. Like i keep saying though, we (NEK) are always after players so feel free to come out next season!!!
